Your website should continue working after it has been launched.
I provide practical maintenance and support for WordPress and static websites. Whether you need ongoing care or help solving a specific problem, I can review the issue and recommend the right next step.

Websites are often ignored after launch until something stops working. A contact form may stop sending messages, a plugin update may cause an error, or the website may slowly become harder to use on a phone.
SSL certificates, hosting accounts and domains also need attention. Content becomes outdated, links stop working and the person who originally built the site may no longer be available. When responsibility is unclear, a small problem can remain unresolved for too long.
For a business owner, the website is important, but maintaining it is not their main job. My role is to help keep it working and give you someone dependable to contact when a problem appears.
WordPress websites require ongoing care because WordPress itself, themes, plugins, hosting and third-party services can change over time.
Maintenance is more than pressing an update button. I consider what the website does, which features are important to the business and what recovery options are available if an update causes a problem.
Updates are reviewed and handled carefully, especially when the website uses older themes, custom code or important business features.
Some updates may need testing first. If an update is likely to create a compatibility problem, I will explain the risk and recommend a safer next step.
A static website is usually built using HTML, CSS and JavaScript without a WordPress dashboard. It may be simpler, but changes often require someone who can work directly with the website code.
Static websites may need less frequent software maintenance than WordPress, because there is no WordPress core or plugin collection to update. They still need technical support, content changes, backups and checks around hosting, forms, domains and security.
I can make careful code changes while preserving the existing layout and keeping a backup of the working version.
For a specific problem, repair or website change. This may suit a broken website, WordPress error, form problem, minor content update, hosting issue, migration, SSL problem or domain and DNS issue.
The work is assessed based on the issue and estimated effort. I will explain the proposed scope before work begins.
Ongoing support for brochure websites built without WordPress.
Ongoing care for active WordPress websites.
The final scope depends on the website’s condition, features and requirements. I will recommend a suitable arrangement after reviewing the site.
I should not take over a neglected or compromised website without understanding its condition first.
I inspect WordPress or website files, hosting, plugins, forms, SSL, backups and the current condition.
I look for outdated software, missing backups, security concerns, broken features and unsupported components.
I explain whether the website needs a one-off repair, initial stabilisation or an ongoing care plan.
Serious existing problems may need to be fixed as a separate first stage before routine maintenance starts.
Once the website is in a stable condition, I carry out the agreed maintenance and support work.
A small monthly care arrangement cannot reasonably absorb years of unresolved technical problems. I will identify existing issues first and explain which stabilisation work needs separate approval. This keeps expectations clear and avoids hiding important risks inside routine maintenance.
Maintenance covers agreed website care and minor support. Larger changes, redesigns and new functionality will be assessed and quoted separately before work begins.
This does not make the support less helpful. It means you know what the care arrangement is responsible for and can approve larger work with a clear understanding of the effort involved.
Paid licences, hosting and third-party services also remain separate unless they are specifically included in writing.
I do more than update plugins. I look at the website, hosting, forms, security and technical setup together. When something goes wrong, you have one person who can investigate the wider problem instead of passing it between several providers.
I have worked with websites since 2009. My experience includes WordPress development, static HTML and CSS websites, hosting and servers, domains and DNS, SSL, website forms, performance, technical SEO and troubleshooting.
That wider view matters because a form problem may involve email delivery, DNS or hosting rather than the form itself. A slow page may involve images, scripts, a plugin, caching or the server. I investigate before recommending a fix.
Yes, but the website must first be reviewed to understand its condition, setup and existing problems.
Yes. WordPress and static websites require different types of maintenance, so the recommended support plan will depend on how the website is built.
They may be included in a WordPress care plan. Updates should be reviewed carefully because older themes, plugins or custom code may create compatibility problems.
Yes. The problem will first be investigated and treated as a one-off repair or stabilisation task before routine maintenance begins.
No. Maintenance covers the agreed care and minor-support scope. Larger changes and new functionality are quoted separately.
I can assist with hosting, domain, DNS and SSL matters. Renewal fees and third-party charges remain separate unless specifically included.
No responsible provider can guarantee that. Regular updates, backups, monitoring and good security practices can reduce risk and improve recovery options.
Response times depend on the selected support arrangement. The agreed response expectation will be documented before the care plan begins.
If your website is outdated, showing errors or simply has nobody looking after it, tell me what is happening.
I will review the situation and help you decide whether you need a one-off repair or an ongoing care plan.
